Final Lap

Happiness is only days away! Today I officially finished half of my finals! I am really excited because my pre calc. teacher already finished grading my math final and I ended up with an A! I love working really hard for something and then finally achieving it :]

Today my physics teacher gave an analogy of a runner during a race. She said a runner paces himself through the whole race; having to push himself to keep steady. Then on the final lap, he sprints all the way to the finish line, or in other words, finishes strong. Then I got thinking. What happens if the runner worked hard during the whole race and then is just to tired to finish with anything more than a walk? What happens if his coaches made him run too much and he was worn out? Why is all of his training and hard work based on only one lap? Maybe I'm just thinking to much, or maybe I'm trying to find a reason to support my laziness. Well I better go continue studying so I can hopefully finish with a sprint.

(sheesh all of this talk about running is making me tired, I better take a nap first ;] )
